w98 driver for T1000? Why doesn't Device Manager see T1000?

My T1000 tape backup and software is working properly on the floppy cable, but win98 does not see the tape backup in device manager?

Is there a w98 driver for the T1000 if it is connected to the floppy?

Is there a w98 driver for the T1000 if it is connected to the parallel port?

Is the T1000 supposed to show up in device manager?

Hi Frank,
1) W98 does not provide tape drive device drivers. They are provided by the respective tape backup s/w.

2) The tape backup s/w would provide the parallel port driver (e.g. Seagate Backup Exec s/w).

3) Not necessarily. Sometimes it might. Other times it may not. Sometimes the tape drive might show up as a yellow device question mark in device manager. Its a windows thing. Don
