The StoreOnce 3540 has 12x4 TB HDDs and the file system is capped at 50%. in order to be able to use the entire file system you will need to buy and install a software license. Once this is installed the file system will expand to full capacity, no other actions is required from your end.

Is there an error when you try to expand? Is the capacoty software license installed?
