Help needed.
Hi,
We have a client who has a StoreOnce G4 - BB954A. He installed a P9D93A - HPE SN1100Q 16Gb Single Port Fibre Channel Host Bus Adapter on slot 5 (speed -auto-negotiate; topology - fabric) and it displays the status information that the port is not licensed.
Can somebody help with what license type needs to be applied (bought)? Please note that card is bought from 3rd party company that sells refurbished items.
Thanks upfront

Re: Help needed.
Hi @BesnikR.
In short - for this device, you cannot buy an additional card separately from a third supplier. It is necessary to purchase a set of additional card + license from the manufacturer of this device.
Flexible I/O Options – Network/Fibre Channel Cards
HPE StoreOnce Appliances enable users to choose up to four I/O optional interfaces from the following:
• 10/25Gb Ethernet
• 10Gb BaseT Ethernet
• 16Gb Fibre Channel
• 32GB Fibre Channel
Any combination of interfaces can be selected but must be installed in the correct slots. All flexible I/O cards have dual ports. The
interfaces are licensed and entitlement certificated are supplied with the product. Factory installed interfaces have licenses preinstalled. Interfaces are supported on StoreOnce 3620/3640/3660/5200/5250/5260/5650 and 5660.
