HP P4500 G2 SAN\iQ 10.5 - reset to default settings
Hi,
is there any way to reset to factory settings? I don't know way but I can't log on to console with default user and password (admin/admin). When I first time turn on devices I set only IP addresses and don't create any user (I thought that for test enviroment will be). Then I created MG in CMC and there I create new user and possword. After two days I decided to remove all my configuration so I delete MG. Then when I try to logon to console (with kayboard connected to device) or with putty (ssh) I can't log on ... Default admin/admin doesn't work so please, there is any method to reset to default settings? I need quick response.
Thanks

Re: HP P4500 G2 SAN\iQ 10.5 - reset to default settings
Hi,
you download Quick Restore DVD from here: https://h20392.www2.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=StoreVirtualSW
and boot.
You will need USB flash with license key...

Re: HP P4500 G2 SAN\iQ 10.5 - reset to default settings
Warning
If you do the quick restore and dont have the license key (toast) you will destroy them and have to get a key.
The easiest way is to just call support and they can reset it for you.
If... You want to just start over the get the console of one the systems or however how many you have and remove them from the management groups.
If you do want to do the quick restore make sure you get the license key and put it a file so on a usb stick.
Here are the inructions if you want to go that route.

Login using the username and password you created for the MG.
