Hi Guys,
I have a serious problem on a site on which there are always 2 HP StoreVirtual VSA servers.
And obviously HPE VSA is no longer supported since the end of 2022.
This was implemented in 2019, I don't know how this is all possible.
For errors on a memory on one of the esx, I chose to stop everything to swap the RAM with another (maybe this comes from the slot?)
But already, the shutdown did not go as planned.
I manually stopped the FOM from the ESX (F**k me), then I used the "Shut Down Management Group" button.
After 30min, the VSAs were still not turned off, and not found from the CMC console.
I manually turned off the 2 vsa via the ESX.
Now, the datastore does not go back to the ESX,
Only the FOM is found by the CMC, we can't do anything from the CMC.
on the 2 VSAs, we have the error "Cannot log in to the console because the storage system has not yet fully initialized. Wait a minute and try Again"
The virtual IP only pings occasionally but it is very rare
We cannot connect via CLI to the VSAs because only HP support has the password....
Does anyone have a solution please?
or we just have to break everything and restore ?
Is it possible to access the VSA VMDK in order to recover data?
Thanks a lot for your help !

SolutionHi,
Problem Solved !
The maximum number of inodes was reached on the root partition for the 2 VSA.
There were a very large number of files under /var/spool/clientmqueue (Related to emails !).
After deleting these files and rebooting everithing is OK
Best Regards,
