Moving the FOM for a Storevirtual cluster
I discovered that the FOM for an HPE P4330 StoreVirtual cluster is located on the storage itself.
The FOM is a VMware vSphere VM hosted by a datastore managed by the HPE P4330 cluster.
I need to move it to a different datastore without compromising in any way the activity of the cluster.
Can I simply migrate the VM to a different datastore or should I perform any different procedure?
Regards
MN

Re: Moving the FOM for a Storevirtual cluster
Hi,
Are all the 4330 nodes OK in the cluster, so you have quorum (majority) of managers?
If so you can shut down the FOM and move the files to another datastore outside the StoreVirtual cluster...
If you have the Storage vMotion license you can even do it online to move it to another datastore...
Just be sure that the cluster is healthy so you have a majority of managers active...

Bart
