I just started receving these event messages daily: Cache 1' BBU Status = 'Faulty'. CRITICAL (E01020207)
About 1.5 hours after the CRITICAL event I receive this message: 'Cache 1' BBU Status = 'Normal'. INFO (E01020200)
Do I need to replace the cache battery or is there something else going on?
Product: HP P4500 G2 14.4TB SAS Virt SAN

SolutionHi SACSS
The error message indicates that the Battery Backed Unit is alternating between Normal and Faulty status.
I request you to open a support case to get the logs reviewed by the Support team and proceed with the part replacement.

Re: P4500 G2 Messages: Cache 1' BBU Status = 'Faulty'. CRITICAL (E01020207)
Hey Mohamed, thanks for the reply. Unfortuantely we are out of warranty and will replace this unit within a year. We have a Smart Array P410 and with the help of my vendor found replacment part number: 462969-B21. Just want to make sure I am on the correct path replacing the cache battery.
