2600 series H.10.45 causes SNMP security access violation
I upgraded my 2600 series switches to H.10.45 over the weekend via PCM+. All is okay except PCM+ cannot talk to the switches with SNMP. In PCM+, a communications test says "Authorization Failure", and on the switches I have "SNMP security access violation from " errors in the event log. Everything worked okay before the upgrade, and a 2600 series switch that was not upgrades still responds to PCM+.

Are you using SNMPv3 by any chance? If so I think you might have stumbled across a new bug. You should let HP support know about it.

Re: 2600 series H.10.45 causes SNMP security access violation
UPDATE: I changed PCM+ to use SNMPv1/v2 and now PCM can talk to them.
