Hi,
Can any one help me what is the best practice for configuring HP procurve with Cisco.
1.what type of STP we want to use in both procurve switch & cisco switch.(whther we want to use mst in both the switch or we can use any other method)
2.we will configure tagged port in procurve & trunck port in cisco for connecting uplinks.(any configuration is required in cisco & procurve other then this)
3.how to configure trunck port in procurve for load balancing in uplinks which is connected to cisco.
4.did HP 5412’s support a forced version of STP which is compatible with our existing cisco PVST.
in above setup core switch is cisco & we are using Procurve as access switch.
if any one give command line for this it will be great help....

HP Procurve doesn't support PVST+. I think that best option will be MSTP for HP & Cisco.
Link aggregation is well described in ProCurve_Cisco.pdf document.
