can I edit the Procurve switch login screen text?
Whenever I Telnet into one of our switches, be it a 4000M or a 2524, the login screen has the HP company info, as well as the model number and firmware version. I work in a highschool environment and don't want the curious kids knowing the model numbers of what we are running so they don't go to Google and find the latest exploits and backdoors. Is there a way to edit or remove the login screen text and just leave a prompt that says Password: ?
Thanks for your help,
Walter
