Compatibility between JD063B and J4860C
I am planning to extend my network over long spans of singlemode fiber cable (over 10 Km), and I would like use that cable to connect an E4800‑24G‑SFP (JD009A) with a few 2510-24 (J9019B).
I see that the 2510 has the J4860C SFP and the E4800 has the JD063B. They appear to be the "usual" 1000baseLX-over-1550 as found in almost all vendors. In their description, it is stated that no 1550 1000base standard exists.
My question is: will they interoperate over fiber and bring the link up? Has anyone tried?
