Hi All,
I'm looking for a new switch that can replace HP J8697A 5406zl with 3 modules: J9549A and 2x J9550A, I was wondering if you can advise next more recent model.
Thanks,
Eric.

SolutionIf you're used to HP 5400 zl then the Aruba 5400R zl2 will be almost identical (software is clearly kept updated and it's not going to be declared EoS too soon since it was introduced during 2016 as replacement for 5400 zl line)...and you can deploy redundancy at various levels (Power Supplies and Management Modules).
If instead you're planning a big step forward the Aruba CX 6400 Switch series (modular) or Aruba CX 6300 Switch series (fixed) is the future-proof way to go.
I omitted any other ArubaOS-Switch based switch series with fixed ports (Aruba 3810M or 2930F/2930M just as examples) because you actually have a modular chassis deployed.
