erase all startup config yor switch

switch is reboot after connect console cable and assing ip address

Here is one suggesstion:

I notice from your earlier post that
"ip default-gateway 0.0.0.0".

Can you check the ip route table to see what gateways are defined in the switch(192.36.51.39)? The command to view this is "show ip route".

If there are no proper gateway defined, then a good start to get the connectivity up between the problematic switch(192.36.51.39) and PCM server(192.36.54.142) is to define a proper route in the switch for network 192.36.54.* subnet (which contains PCM server).

This can be achieved by doing these:
#config
(config)#ip route 192.36.54.0 255.255.255.0

Apparently, the update of the firmware of the switchs hp resolv my problem. Now I want to configure alerts and I don't understand how to do. I create a SMTP Profile, when I enforce policy it works but I don't know how to send an e-mail when a switch is outor when it have a good status. Thanks
