HP5300 with black telnet screen
HI, i have a problem:
When i try to establish a telnet session, i have a black screen, without prompt.
Do you have the same problem?
We are unable to telnet to the switch.
I try to remove the telnet service (no telnet server) and re-enable

Haven't seen this problem but I'd recommend updating to at least E.10.74 as there was a fix around that version that fixed a telnet hang issue.
To recover now you'll probably need to reboot the switch from the web interface or click the reset on the front.

I am having the same problem. Did you ever find out how to fix this??
