Procurve 1800-8g VLAN
Hi, all
I have tricky vlan setup to configure and would appreciate any assitance.
The equipment in use are ;
ProCurve AP530 (J8987A)
Procurve 1800-8G (J9029A)
ProCurve 3400-cl (J4905A)
Desired Result - configure the AP 530 with two seperate wlan's -
vlan -1 (internal corporate network)
vlan -4 (external for contractors)
1800-8G - #1 - uplink to 3400-cl#14
1800-8G - #1 - vlan 1 + 4 member
1800-8G - #1 - Packet Type = Tagged Only
1800-8G - #1 - PVID = none
1800-8G - #8 - uplink to ap530
1800-8G - #8 - vlan 1 + 4 member
1800-8g - #8 - Packet Type = All
1800-8G - #8 - PVID = 1
3400-cl - 14 Tagged for vlan 1 + 4
In this configuration the AP is accessible but only for vlan-1, I can not get vlan-4 to work.

Re: Procurve 1800-8g VLAN
Is the 3400 configured to tag vlan 4 on its like to your 1800? You've set the vlan to 4 on your contractor ssid? What if you set port 8 to tagged only, pvid=none? Can you set another port to be a member of vlan 4, and see if it's reachable from the 3400 and the ap?
