Proliant DL380 and 5300xl mesh

Hi,
What is the best secure way to attach the 2 two gigabit card of my DL380.
Could i connect the 2 card at 2 meshed switch ?

connect the two 5300xl with a trunk run ospf and xrrp, connect one of the card of the dl380 on one 5300 and the other card to the other 5300 and configure transmit-load balancing on the networkcards
