Our dhcp server runs on Windows 2003. A Cisco 6500 relays (ip-helper) the dhcp broadcasts.
PXE server (LANDesk) runs on a seperate server.
Debug:
DSNP DHCP DISCOVER: port 1, vid 984, from 18A905-??????, allow: broadcast on untrusted input port to trusted output ports.
DSNP DHCP OFFER: port 50, vid 984, from 00059A-?????? from server-id: 10.B.C.D offered: 10.X.Y.Z lease time 28800 seconds, allow: output port 1.
DSNP DHCP OFFER: port 50, vid 984, from 00059A-?????? from server-id: 10.K.L.M offered: 0.0.0.0, drop: illegal yiaddr: 0.0.0.0.
(Last line is the PXE server)
With H.10.74 yiaddr 0.0.0.0 isn't dropped.
Should i revert to the previous release or is it a configuration issue?

Re: PXE and dhcp-snooping on 2650 firmware H.10.83
I believe I am seeing the same on 2824 running version I.10.77, did not see on version I.10.73. Same suggestion, roll back to older version until fixed in later?
Anyone else seeing this on 2824, J4903A switches?
W 01/22/10 03:41:34 dhcp-snoop: backplane: Drop offer from xxx.xx.xxx.xxx of 0.0.0.0; address is illegal.
W 01/22/10 03:41:34 dhcp-snoop: backplane: Ceasing illegal lease information logs for 5m.
thanks!!
