Hello,
I have drawn the simplified scheme of my network (The attached archive contains files lan_current.jpg). Routing between VLAN is carried out on the central Hp5308. Also RSTP is configured.
I plan to buy switch Hp5304 and deploy XRRP. As to add additional optical lines in branches office not probably the following topology is planned (The attached archive contains files lan_xrrp.jpg).
I understand, that the given variant not the best, but it would be desirable to know, whether will work XRRP in this case ???

Re: Redundant network with XRRP
I think that you scheme is not correct and non-working, but i'll glad to listen an experts refutation.

Solution
The scheme is working now and will work in future. You need to trunk all VLANs between 530X switches.
RSTP will either block link between two remote branch switches, or unblock in case of one of central switches failure. Dont forger to tune Root swich priorities.
