ROM update mode on Procurve 2524

ho do I update ROM version on Procurve 2524 switch? 'Show system' command shows ROM version 01.01.
Firmware revision : F.05.55
ROM Version : F.01.01

I found command 'update' which Enters ROM update mode, can't find any info about it in documentation. What is it used for?

With these switches, if a ROM upgrade is required it's automatically done during the firmware update.

The 'update' command reboots the switch into Monitor ROM console (takes the switch offline, serial console access only). You should never need to use this.

I have three 2524 switches and 2 of them have F.02.01.
Is there any difference in operation, if ROM version is different?
