SNMP event reception rates

Hi,
I am doing a paper on SNMP. I am unable to find any data regarding the fastest (or even the best system) event reception rate for NMS and SNMP event generation rates for the switches. Is there any information regarding this? Customer scenarios or customer reports would also help? Please help me as this is a vital part of my presentation.
