[Stacking] - Switch 2910al and module J9165A
Hi,
I've got some 2910al switches : i'd like stack them.
I've bought some modules : J9165A with HP cables to do the stacking.
There's no README.
1. Is it possible both are compatibles ?
2. How do stacking with modules ? Enable auto Grab ? au joint ?
I read the documentation about creating stacking with simple networkign cable.
I'm a little lost...
Thank you in advance for your help.

Re: [Stacking] - Switch 2910al and module J9165A
Hi,
There is only one model that support real stack, 3800. All other HP E-Series are doing stack commander, one IP for all devices but using standard ethernet connection.
The modules you buy are only need for 10GB Ethernet connection, and are available in your CLI like any other front-panel ports.
Bye.
