Use radius on a switch with a streaming server

Hi

The setup:
We have a switch which authenticates using a radius server. (That part is working)
If a server is connected to the switch is it allowed to send traffic through the switch. (The switch is using mac-based authentication using chapradius.)

the problem is that the port is closed while authenticating. Eg. any packet which want to get through the switch while it is authenticating, is dropped. Is it possible to keep the port open during authentication, or set some kind of grace period?
