Using IAS for VLAN assignment

I'm trying to set up my IAS server to assign users to a specific VLAN. I'm following the instructions provided by Micrsoft and end up having to add some attributed to a Remote Access Policy, being: Tunnel-Medium-type, Tunnel-Pvt-Group-ID, Tunnel-Type and
Tunnel-Tag.

I have no problem doing the first 3, but for the Tunnel-Tag attribute, Microsoft refers to the Hardware Documentation.

The switches I'm using are HP Procurve 6108, but nowhere in the documention, nor anywhere else, have I found what the value for this attribute should be.

Anyone knows what it could be?

Re: Using IAS for VLAN assignment

Hi

You only need the tunnel-type, tunnel-pvt-group-id and tunnel-medium-type.

so it should look similar to the attached file.

- In Tunnel-Medium-Type, ensure that this matches your access type.

- In Tunnel-Pvt-Group-ID, use the integer for the VLAN number to which group members will be assigned.

- In Tunnel-Type, select VLANs.

Good Luck !!!
