can some budy give me a vlan implementation checklist i mean prerequisite up date os , backups etc.

three server farms, one for SAP SERVERS, second for MAIL,DOMAIN,ANTIVIRUS,PROXY,VERITAS SERVER, third for remaining servers.Below is the total inventory of switches with their model numbers.We first like to enable floor wise VLANs and then department wise depending upon the requirement.
Total number of Hp-2524 switches : 22
Total number of Hp-2650 switches : 5
Hp-5308xl : 1
