What is default user for HP 48Port serial console server
I'm not able to login to my 48p serial Console server. Tried admin/admin, admin/blank, Admin/blank, Administrator, and so on.
Is there a way to create a new user from the HP IP Console Viewer utility?

says
" There is no factory default password for the Admin user. At the Password prompt, press the Enter key."
"You are prompted for a new Admin password. Passwords are case-sensitive and must contain three to 16 alphanumeric characters."
So it should initially be Admin/, but probably has been changed after the first login.

Do you mean you CAN login with the console viewer?
Maybe it is using stored account information.
If so, then yes this utility can mange acoounts.
As last resort see page 20 of the document
"Reinitializing the SCS removes configured information, which can be useful when reinstalling the unit at another location in your network. You can erase the onfiguration database, which contains all nonvolatile data except the IP address, subnet mask, and gateway. You can also erase both the configuration database and the network address information."
