upon deletion, an error keep on scrolling and we could not stop. we could no longer add the route.

is there any way to stop the scrolling?

Hi,

Check all the plumbed interfaces and make sure they have the connectivity. Either the cable is bad, disconnected or the switch might have dropped the connection. Or it could be due to improper speed settings. Make sure the speeds are set the same on the switch and on the NIC.

If it is only the default route you deleted, you can logon to this box from another system in the *same* subnet. I would try that option.

Re: HP UX STREAM Error Scrolling -- How to stop from the console

1) Ctrl-S or scroll lock? I assume that you already tried it. :)

2)Disconnect the console cable after the error, assuming a decent HP console terminal. Use pgup/pgdown to scroll.

3) Do you have GSP enabled? Telnet into gsp from a terminal session after enabling typescript there. See man for script. Or telnet in from a terminal with dtterm -sl 10000, that should help.

Hope this helps.
