• HPE GreenLake for Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform is the result of the joint development announcement at HPE Discover 2022. The combination of the HPE GreenLake edge-to-cloud platform with Red Hat’s enterprise open-source technology delivers a consistent, powerful foundation for application development and hybrid cloud innovation. It helps customers reduce costs and complexity, while enhancing stability and performance across multiple IT environments. HPE GreenLake for Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform delivers self-service management of containers across edge, data center and hybrid cloud environments. It provides enhanced flexibility and scalability, as well as optimized and standardized container configurations.

• HPE GreenLake for VMware, which we announced earlier this month, will bring together HPE GreenLake and VMware Cloud to deliver a fully integrated solution with a simple pay-as-you-go hybrid cloud consumption model. VMware Cloud will be fully integrated across the HPE GreenLake portfolio, including HPE GreenLake for Private Cloud Enterprise.

Maurice joined HPE in June 2020 after a 16-year career at Microsoft in roles including COO of Microsoft Ireland; Azure COO for the UK for 6 years; and for the last 4 years, as the worldwide field go-to-market leader for the Azure business, in Seattle. Maurice graduated from Trinity College Dublin with degrees in Computer Science, Engineering and Maths. His earlier career included being co-founder and CTO of a software start-up that developed innovative performance support systems; a stint with venture capital at The Carlyle Group in London; and 7 years at IONA Technologies in engineering, product, and strategy leadership roles.
