If you’re not familiar with Microsoft Azure Stack HCI – as it’s a fairly recent introduction – it’s a hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) solution that enables you to run traditional virtualized applications on-premises with all the familiar features and hybrid cloud capabilities of the Azure Stack operating system and seamless connection to Microsoft Azure. Only officially validated Azure Stack HCI solutions are listed in the Azure Stack HCI hardware catalog. HPE is represented by a range of versatile, highly secure, tested products (see the image below). These include HPE ProLiant Gen10 Servers based on both Intel and AMD EPYC server processors; they are highly adaptable for diverse workloads and environments. HPE Apollo 4200 Gen10 Server is optimized for data storage intensive workloads. The HPE Edgeline EL8000 Converged Edge System provides high-speed connectivity and flexibility for your edge computing needs.

HPE GreenLake with Azure Stack HCI will bring you all the advantages of Microsoft’s powerful hyperconverged infrastructure solution with the pay-as-you-go simplicity of HPE GreenLake edge-to-cloud platform. As with all HPE GreenLake cloud services, HPE metering technologies enable us to provide monthly billing based on actual consumption of compute and storage resources. You don’t have to make a large upfront investment for the infrastructure, and you’re not paying for capacity that you don’t use.

In addition to the validated hardware, HPE GreenLake with Azure Stack HCI will also deliver software and management services, including installation and configuration, as well as monitoring capabilities through our self-service hub, HPE GreenLake Central. The solution is deployed and monitored 24x7 by HPE GreenLake Management Services (see the image below).

 In addition, we can provide a single bill that can include all charges—including Azure Stack HCI, enhanced Azure services (such as backup), and services from HPE or working with our partners as cloud service providers.
