5231 mlppp issue

Ok I am stuck here.. I have a 5231 router configured for mlppp. Its constantly dropping and the performance is not what it should be. While looking at it today I noticed that one serial interface is down and if I display ppp mp it only shows the one interface connected. I just want another set of eyes to look at my configuration. I have pasted everything below for your browsing enjoyment.

Re: 5231 mlppp issue

palgar, in a situation like this, the first rule of thumb it to determine what works and what does not. If you disable the mlppp function and configure the serial interfaces seperately are the functional without generating errors. This would validate both ends of the circuit. The reason I asked is the number of input errors that are being reported on interface s1:0. Until the individial circuits are verified troubleshooting MLPPP may not be the most productive approach.

Re: 5231 mlppp issue

Palgar, one more comment. The version of code that you ar running is I believe the initial release from perhaps the year 2003. Unlike wine, original versions software do not always improve with age.
