Firewall Module on the A6604 Router

Firewall Module on the A6604 Router

Hi,

 

In the datasheet it's mentioned that the router has embedded vpn accelerator then do I still need the firewall module for enabling vpn service.

 

If someone can guide would be great.

You don't need Firewall module if you're going to use IPSec, GRE, L2TP etc. Only when you're concerned about deviding security zone or virual firewall fuctions, you may consider Firewall module .
