H3C MSR20-10 LAN-WAN-LAN routing

How do I configure the router to allow sessions originating from LAN through WAN, to return to a server on LAN using specified ports?

Routing from WAN works fine except for sessions to LAN, from WAN that originated at LAN; which are blocked.

eg. User1 is on VLAN1. Server1 is also on VLAN1. User1 calls on server1 (http//:server1:some-port) via DNS on internet through ETH0. DNS points back to ETH0. - Router blocks! (I need the router to pass through to server1).

User2 is on some other unrelated LAN; User2 calls on server1 (http//:server1:some-port) via DNS on internet. DNS points to ETH0. - Router sends user2 to server1.

If the server and the user are in the same VLAN why you need routing ?? this should be pure L2 traffic in the LAN side and should not pass through WAN, do you have local DNS ??, try the same using the IP address of the server instead of the server name.

No we don't have local DNS. Using the servers Local IP is not a viable option as all who use the mail server have laptops that are out of the office more often than not. they need to be able to access mail without continuously changing settings in their mail clients.

Thanks for the tip, I'll set up a local DNS.
