How to trace unmanaged or rogue switch in network

Hi,

How can we detect Rogue Switch or Un-Managed switch being connected. In this case someone has connected Rogue Switch in his place and network admin is not aware, so network admin can catch such incidents.

Hello,

Its very difficult to track the unmanaged switch in network,. The best suggestion is shutdown the interface which is not use , so it will not created any issue when someone plug any network.

Other way is trace the MAC-Addr of the devices in the network
