Network breakdown issue with HP v1905 -49 port switches

Hi All,

I am facing an issue with my network. I have two HP procurev v1905 switches of 48 ports each. One is configured with 172.18.136.4 and another one with 172.18.136.5. When both the switches are running simultaneoulsy, it lets to network breakdown where the latency of internal network is in between 1000ms- 3000ms with near about 60% - 70% packet loss. When I remove the second switch (172.18.136.5) the network works well. Both the switches are interconnected to each other. The uplink cable from my ARUBA is plugged into the forst switch 172.18.136.4.

Solutions to this issue is highly appreciated.

With that little info as starting point,  a loop resulting in broadcast storm is my 1st guess.
