Reset the HP Procurve switch settings to factory reset and Web access ?

Hi All,

Can anyone here please share some thought and steps to reset the HP Procurve switch to factory default ?

and how can I access the web management console through my browser after the reset so that I do not need to rely on switch command line console anymore.

Which "HP ProCurve" switch are you exactly referring to?

Is it one of the switches cited in your other post here ?

Anyway, didn't you found information about reset procedures by consulting switch dedicated documentation?

@parnassus, No it is different. It's Procurve 1810 J9660A switch.

I cannot find the Console port to connect the Cisco serial cable.

AFAIK that model is not equipped with a Console Port (but it has a Reset pushbutton).

In regards to the web based console, what's the default IP address and credentials ?
