Can't use total HD space

I have a HP ML 110G5 server installed with windows 2003 Std and a 72Gb HD, my problem is that windows is seeing only 4Gb even Disk Managment see 68GB.
I have installed the last SAS controller as well, can you someone please help me so I can use the whole hard disk? - Please see attachment

Re: Can't use total HD space

Hi. That seems very odd..

One thing you can try is to run a checkdisk on the C: drive.

*open a Commandpromt
*Make sure your on C:
*type "chkdsk /f" and answere yes to the question if you want checkdisk to run on next boot.
*reboot server and let the checkdisk run.

Thanks Cederberg,
It didn't work - I will try the hard way reinstalling the whole OS - if there is another idea please let me know.

Re: Can't use total HD space

this is physicall connected disk? or its through SAN?

there are few possibilities for this issue,
right click on your C:\ drive select tools and click on Check now will check if there any error on this drive,

do you have any info, any Raid has configured on this?

also check for caching space, you may reduce it if its high, let me know how it goes, thanks,

Re: Can't use total HD space

Hi Juan Pablo,

What Service Pack for Windows Server 2003 are you running?
There might be some limitations there.
Try installing SP1 or SP2 and see if it recognizes the whole disk space.

Hope it helps.

Edgar.
