Designjet 800 Not Printing Correctly On Microsoft Print Cluster
We are experiencing a problem when printing to a Designjet 800 from a Microsoft Print Cluster. When printing a wide print job it begins to cut off the edge of the print job. The print job works fine when printing to the printer directly and not using the print cluster. I suspect that the problem is a compatibility issue with the print cluster but I am not certain.

Re: Designjet 800 Not Printing Correctly On Microsoft Print Cluster
Start > Settings >Printers & Faxes
then
File > Server Properties > Forms
Be sure the relevant paper sizes are defined.
Also make sure optional equipment on the printer is defined on the server.
Also when printing from a client it is a choice on the printer setup to use NT EMF or Winprint/RAW print processor. Do avoid the NT EMF format is my experience, since this requires additional processing by the server.
Printing is always a 3-way cooperation between the printer, application and video-driver. So be sure all are updated and have relevant options. Options in an application will as a rule always override options in a printer driver. The video-driver is important because the application and printer driver will query the video driver in order to get WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get). Conversely what you see on "Print Preview" should be exactly what you get when printed.
Hope this gave some pointers on things to try.
Cheers,
Rune

Re: Designjet 800 Not Printing Correctly On Microsoft Print Cluster
I found out that DesignJet printers aren't supported with Microsoft Print Clusters after speaking with DesignJet support.
