HP Network Configuration Utility - Multiple IP Adresses
Hello,
we are using HP Network Configuration Utility to team (fault tolerant) 2 of our NICs (HP7782) on a shared webserver.
Currently there was 17 IP Adresses configured on this team (static adresses).
Now I have to setup an additional IP Address.
After setup this in network TCP/IP settings, the team changed from state "connected" to "Aquiring network address". All old IPs are working; the new one is 0.0.0.0 (WE DON#T USE DHCP anywhere).
Setting up an other Adapter with 20 IPs works.
PSP 7.80 is installed and firmware are up to date.
Any ideas/solutions ??
Thanks.
Regards,
Dirk

Re: HP Network Configuration Utility - Multiple IP Adresses
maybe the new adress is allready active somewhere else in the network and the team won't activate this new one?
is using "host headers" an alternative to using multiple IP-adresses?

Re: HP Network Configuration Utility - Multiple IP Adresses
Hi,
we found a solution.
ReInstall of SP1 with following Reboot fixes the Problem.
@Pieter: Hostheaders are not possible : Customer don't want them and SSL should alwasy be possible.
Thanks.
