Perfmon reporting disk utilisation greater than 100%
Hi All,
Perfmon on Windows Server 2003 reports physical disk utilisation greater than 100% (in some cases the number is as high as 1600%). Performance Object selected is "Physical Disk" and counter is "% Disk Time".
It would appear that the maximum value should be 100%. Can anyone explain the cause for such high readings?
p.s. The disk being monitored is a Smart Array single logical disk and to the OS it should appear as a single spindle.
The HP Proliant Server in question runs standard Proliant Support Pack (including the HP Smart Array driver).
Thanks,
Saket.
