PSC1350 -> Win2003?

Hi there,

I need to install a PSC1350 on a Win2003 Terminal Server. The downloadable driver does not support installation on 2003 & the file wrapper will not allow me to force the install.

The printer is not actually attached to the server but is used by some of the terminal server clients.

Extracting the files show various .inf files but I cant get any of these to be recognised.

Does anyone know how I can install this driver so the remote clients with this printer can attach to it.

Failing that, does anyone know if it is possible to edit the NTPRINT.INF file to redirect this USB printer to a HP550c driver or similar?

Cheers

Andy

As I see it, you should install the drivers there where the printer is physicaly attached to (in your case the client, right?) unless the printer is connected to the network with a network interface card.
If you would like other users (from other machines) to print to this printer, your client machine must share the printer and hereby become a "print-server". Remember that Client OSes (Win XP, W2K pro, NT4 workstation) only support maximum of 10 simultanious connections!!
