Redirect Printing
I am trying to print from a remote server
(unsuccessfully)
using local printers. I am connected to the server using terminal services.
My server - Windows server 2003.
My client - Windows xp.
I have 2 types of hp printers In the site
(Hp LaserJet5si, 4si)and they both installed on the 2003 server and Xp.
I am able to print directly from the server!
Any Ideas???

Re: Redirect Printing
Adi,
If you are trying to print using a local device when you are connected to a Windows 2003 server via terminal services.
Go to your local machine and under properties, select to share the printer. Use remote desktop to connect to the server and select control panel and then add a printer. Select the shared printer using the second radio button type the \\server_name\printer_name. The drivers will then be loaded to your remote connection (the windows 2003 server) and you should be able to print to it.
