sysprep on dl360r05 fails
We have 2 identical dl360r05 running windows 2003 sp2 (32bit, hp branded).
Cloning system "a" and boot up on system "b" works fine without any error.
But after resealing with sysprep (sp2 version of windows 2003 32bit) the mini-setup starts, but ends up in a window "windows setup" "please wait...".
The same os and sysprep tested in a vmware virtual machine alwas work fine.
may this be a driver issue?
system was installed via smart start.

Re: sysprep on dl360r05 fails
I'm having a similar problem. I've tried W2K3 SP1 Sysprep and a hotfix that MS wants installed and also WXPSP2 Sysprep. They both do the same thing. After cloning and rebooting, it goes through the setup and then hangs just before the windows login screen comes up. Just a gray background with a mouse pointer. Mouse moves and the keyboard responds. Caps lock, num lock etc. I have to reboot the PC, go through the setup answers again, wait for it to hang again, reboot one more time, then it allows me to log in. Please help.
