Unable to ping new server
I have recently rebuilt a Compaq DL380 P2 to run Server 2003. All rebuilt ok, I can ping anything from the server, however, NOTHING can ping the new server. I dont think it a firewall issue, mainly because When I try to access the firewall I get the following -
Windows firewall cannot run because another program or service is running that might use the network address translation component (Ipnat.sys).

Re: Unable to ping new server
hi,
Verify if the output of the following commands are ok:
route print
and
ipconfig /all
(run at the cmd prompt)
It can be because of the Subnet mask.
you will have to verify these basic stuffs first
kind regards
