Hy,
Is there a way to make an win 2003 cluster with 2 servers and no external storage (SAN,
NAS) only with local disks ?

Thanks

Re: w2k3 cluster

You can't; to install Windows 2003 clusters with two or more nodes, you need a external storage (SAN, NAS, iscsi...).

Re: w2k3 cluster

You can try to install MNS cluster :))
But even if you install such cluster, it is not good solution for 2 nodes - in case of disaster, to survive, you need n/2+1 nodes :))

Re: w2k3 cluster

For learn purposes you can install cluster on Virtual machine, without NAS/SAN

Re: w2k3 cluster

only when you wish to be creative with virtual machine software.

As posted before - nice for test purposes - not recommended in production environments!
