Re: Win2003 not recognize SATA drive

During installation, you have the option to press F6 to add device drivers. Download the drivers for the ML150 G2 disk controller and press F6 when prompted during installation. Did you do that?
Por que hacerlo dificil si es posible hacerlo facil? - Why do it the hard way, when you can do it the easy way?

Yes - downloaded - extracted - found a pc with a floppy drive, dusted off an old floppy and saved the files. The drivers loaded but the OS still did not see the HDD.

Re: Win2003 not recognize SATA drive

Decided to choose another driver -embedded SATA controller - - and that worked.
Thanks for the response.
We're fine here, now, thanks!

Hi Veron,

I have the same problem as your. But my server do not have a floopy drive. Does you server have a floppy drive, if not how did you load the driver? Please advice. Many thanks.

Re: Win2003 not recognize SATA drive

I had the same problem with a ML150 G3. I had to use an USB Floppy drive. It should also be possible to use an USB memmory stick but the program which create the driver wants to have a floppy.
Sorry to tell but easiest way is to buy an USB Floppy Drive.
