Windows 2003 server R2 Installation on ML530

I am trying to install Windows 2003 server R2 on ML530. However, it alow me to install Win 2003 SP1 and give me all kind of kernal error when I insert disk 2. I have install windows 2003 R2 in several machine and it works fine. I have 2 ML530 G2 Machines and I could not install Windows 2003 R2 on them. Please help.

before installing CD2?

Might be worth a try. According to HP's matrix, that OS and server combination should work.
