Hi,
I've a wsus 3.0 installed in a windows 2003 Server SP2 ,it's a VMware VM and it is a stand alone server.
Do yow know if is possibile to install the administration console in a XP client and connect to the server that is in DMZ?
And is possible to delegate this control to someone in a read only mode?

You should have no problems as long as you can ping and authenticate to the server from your XP client. You may need to install the administrative support pack in order to get the WSUS snap-in for your MMC.

I am not aware of a read-only mode but I suggest you use e-mail reports to alert users of this information. It has a similar effect.
