Commandview XP error message
I have an XP 128 connected to two MPE servers via fibre.
Yesterday, I got this error message when I go into command view, select Array manager, then device name:
Error 290-5014 "The user ID or password is invalid"
It was working earlier. I have rebooted the CommandView WS.
Has anyone seen this message and can tell me how to resolve this issue?
Thanks

Re: Commandview XP error message
Looks like CommandView setup is messed up or someone has changed the password. Do you have any other password to try? Have you tried system/manager? Finally you will have to reinstall the CVXP to achieve default user/pass.
Temporarily you can use Remote Web Console for your work, use internet browser to browse through SVP's IP address. If you are not sure of SVP's ip address, call HP support and they will be able to login remotely and find out the User-LAN IP address.

Re: Commandview XP error message
Rebooting the SVP resolved the password issue.
