hello,

i have installed cv with default settings (mentioned during the installation).the installation status is successfull.When i lunch the browser like (http://sma:23015) i get a white plage and nothing inside,again,this time with fellowing http://sma:23015/Devicemanager i have the error "page cannot be found"!! any idea ?

Couple of quick checks for you...

I don't know if CV XP AE is case sensitive or not, but I have the directory as "DeviceManager" (capital M). Also if that doesn't work try using the IP address rather than the server name. If that works you probably have a DNS issue.

are you certain that all of the associated services are running. unfortunately I dont know the HP names for the services

i have tried ip adresse and DeviceManager ,the same thing.also when i put port 2001 http://sma:2001 i get a blue picture with HP command view AE and if i add option DeviceManager to the URL (http://sma:2001/DviceManager)i 'am prompted to a secreen (Device manager security)where i must put login and password!

Hi Amin,

That is normal for the product. The default username is "system" and password is "manager" to login. You need the licensing to use the product, but there is a "license" button to add the licenes on the login screen. BTW, it is recommended to changes the default passwords after logging in.
