Firmware upgrade points on an XP?

Hi

Was wondering what are the components that require firmware upgrades on an XP12000?

So far I only have disk, and CHIP?

Does the SVP require an upgrade at any time?

XP firmware updates are always bundles (to be installed by HP's storage engineers) - no individual updates for invidual components.

There are really a lot of components (with a lot of different names each), among them are

- SSVP and SVP
- link control processor and module
- disk unit monitor
- disk controller
- several control units
- ...

All this may vary from one model to another.
As an owner, did you take a XP user training?
