I have a XP12000 with a server (Windows 2000 Advanced Server)
Present 3 disk of 300GB and works correctly; but I present 1 disk of 3.6 TB and it recognizes it in the operating system with this "unreadable" message and I cannot accede to this.
As I can solve this?
Regards,
Guido

Re: XP12000 with windows
However, you should be able to concat several 2TB LUNs to form a Windows Volume up to 64TB. If you want to further RAID your already RAIDed LUNs - say RAID5, you rmaximum will be 62TB.

Re: XP12000 with windows
Windows 2000 doesn't support luns bigger than 2 TB. From windows 2003 R2 256 TB luns are supported. I don't know if the XP supports larger luns than 2 TB. I know the EVA doesn't.
So either make a smaller lun or check support on the XP and upgrade to Windows 2003 R2.
Good luck.
Peter.
